What was the rationale for this project?
A database of existing capital projects would be helpful for many stakeholders. Nonprofit organizations can have a better sense of what other projects are happening. Donors may be interested in supporting projects. Capital campaign counsel can use the list to illustrate the magnitude of the competition.
Why is AFP hosting this project?
AFP Colorado Chapter is a membership organization for professional fundraisers. It makes sense to have AFP host the database as they are a trusted organization to the fundraising community. Contact lists are in place to communicate this new resource to fundraisers, especially in the metro Denver area.
What happens once I submit my capital campaign answers?
Entries must be vetted and approved before posting to the database list. This process can take up to 5 working days.
What do I do if I need to update my entries?
Please send any updates on existing campaign entries to info@afpcc.org – your data will be updated on the website within 5 business days. Periodic requests will also go out to all nonprofits for updated information.
What happens when our campaign is completed?
There will be an area for completed campaigns and those will be celebrated for six months.
